With Bonty's leg compromised, Treloar should join his mate in the guts.

Re: Welcome to the Westernbulldogs Adam Treloar

“I was really disappointed in his body language,” Cornes told Channel 9’s Footy Classified. “He looks like he’s spat the dummy a little because he’s not playing midfield. Some of these examples from the weekend is quite concerning from a player who has an opportunity to win a premiership. It’s not good enough for a player like that."

    Hi Kane.

How are ya? What a game tonight hey?!?! Hope you enjoyed it.

Just thought I'd give you a little update on how Adam Treloar played.
    23 touches (11 contested).
9 tackles (most on the ground).
26 pressure acts (most from a Bulldog).
13 score involvements (most on the ground), including 3 direct score launches.
    1 goal, 2 behinds.
Collingwood still paying a significant chunk of his salary.

Hope you had your dummy to help you get to sleep tonight you peanut.

    Regards,
    Jazzadogs

Loved Adam's game tonight. He had five bounces in one passage of play. We had 10 bounces for the game. They had 3. We will need his run, spread and ability to take the game on in two weeks.

It’s time for a discussion about Adam Treloar.

On one hand he’s getting plenty of the ball, WOOF votes in most games, is part of our go-to centre bounce setup.

On the other, his possessions are soft (kicks popped up in the air or like Macrae, one-two handball receives), his opponent is more damaging than him, he guards space rather than attacks the ball.

He’s always on our highlights reel but rarely feels damaging, and is quiet when he’s anywhere other than in the guts.

    Discuss.
"I'll give him a hug before the first bounce and then I'll run into my pack and give them orders to rip him apart."

He has had some really strong two-way games this year, and others (round 1, 2, tonight) where he had a net negative impact on us.

    A symbol of our malaise.

I think he’s having an awesome season and is not the problem at all.

If Treloar is a problem we must be undefeated.

We had our best result since 2021 in score differential from clearances. Treloar was a big reason for that. He ain?t the issue.

There’s the enigma. He does so much good but his team defence is terrible. When we have the ball he looks good. When we don’t, he’s rarely in the right spot.

I’m a big fan of his but 10 turnovers is not good enough for a senior player. He’s a good kick when he has time and space, I’m not sure why we don’t play him on the wing like he did successfully in his first year with us.

His the type of cream on top player. Cannot be relied upon to win a contest, but can give you good offence forward and kick a goal or 2. He needed to step up tonight which he did not.

He's had a good season and you can't fault the endeavour he shows, but he didn't connect with his teammates tonight by hand or foot and it cost us dearly.
