Welcome To The Western Bulldogs Lachlan McNeil
Lachlan McNeil | WWT Eagles
9/02/2001 | 182cm | 80kg
McNeil is another who proved plenty of doubters wrong in 2020 after being overlooked as a top-age draft prospect last year. Since, he slotted straight into Woodville-West Torrens’ League side and became one of the competition’s best young players, adding terrific balance in his play from midfield. He is a handy ball winner who usually contributes neat disposals and can play inside or out.

Except he will be instructed to handball at all costs.

Watched the 2020 SANFL grand final specifically to watch James Rowe but this was the kid that caught my eye. Should add plenty to our outside run and carry game. For anyone wanting to have a look the game is still available on 7plus.

He's a touch under 6 foot, what's the comparison?

Smallish mid from SA with clean hands at ground level.

I wish I was only 182cm. AFL midfields really are the land of the giants these days.

I wonder how accurate these measurements are sometimes.
Jobe Watson was supposedly a 190cm beast but I saw him on Tuesday seemed the same height as me (187cm) and to be honest if he pushed me in a pub I'd have no hesitation in pushing back.
On the flipside, I doubt Zaine Cordy is the same height as the Bont. Seems a little taller on the field.

When you get older Axe Man you even shrink. Great fun. I've gone from 5'10 1/2" at 21 to late 60's I'm 5'9". I played key forward and back too as I was a regular height. . Now I'm a midget.

Got a big job ahead of him if he's to make his way to senior level as a midfielder, would be 10-12 well in front of him at this point.
