Based on this, Young is miles off it. Such a disappointing trajectory.

Yeah super unimpressive. Also haven't noticed Hayes much either.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

Across both sides, we insist on transferring pressure to a teammate through speculative handballs. I get they want to open up the play and find space to run into, but we just cough it up repeatedly.

Cavarra has been close to BOG, nice pressure and clean finishing.

There’s using handball as a weapon and then there’s being too over reliant on it.

Easy 50+ point win for the reserves side. I thought Cavarra was BOG, and Marra was lively with a couple of goals, a few marks and 3 or 4 screamer attempts that almost stuck.

Hey Jeemak, without being in a position to watch the game, I'm assuming that you're being cynical here? Quite genuinely, for those that watched, did the new rule seem to have an effect on opening up the game for greater scoring as it was intended or is it looking like another crash and burn from Steve Hocking?

    Crash and burn from Hocking.

Without being biased about rule changes, I couldn't see how it has enhanced the game. In fact it has made it worse seeing a man on the mark like a statue.

This happens at the start of every year, it's that training difference between training drill runs with no pressure and playing against an opposition. This is where they need to get a bit more selfish and run and draw the player in so that when you give it off your teamate is free, rather than amble along and expect them to be free because it's so easy to predict.

    Re: Practice Game snippets

Saw the last qtr of the 2nd game.

JUH took his moment. Was nice to see. Probably could have got a free kick and another shot on goal in one passage.

Schache ran well and used the ball well, in the thick of it.

Lewie looked a ways off. He’s going backwards.
