Sloppy disposal by quite a few players

What a horrible 10 minutes of football.

Really poor quarter. First game, but the same concerns of previous years is in full effect right now.

    Beautiful movement by McNeil though.

Shows we can still get destroyed in transition if we don’t look after the footy. So that stays consistent.

I like the English/Martin combo but it’s the same old problems. Poor entries/forward set up, defenders getting caught out of possession.

McNeil does look good - natural evasive skills are sublime. We seem to have run ourselves into trouble a few times from the brief parts I have seen, Martin looks a winner. Bont seems to be getting caught a lot?

Keath should not be getting beaten in the air like that.

That quarter reminded me of 2020. One bad patch of footy blows us away.

We really need to find a way to stay in games for 4 quarters.

It's difficult to be 'on' for 4 quarters - rarely happens - but our inability to just stay afloat is really bad. This is part structure/set-up, part personnel.

Getting caught out the back and in overlap is frustrating to watch, but our defenders really struggle to actually defend too which is worrying.

The biggest contribution is bad disposal. We need to make every possession count.
