Bazlenka's disposal is overrated anyway, but Bont is just lazy.

This is fine. A lot of positives from today's game and I'm not gonna fret over Bont's disposal.

Apparently that wasn't in the back.

We've been really sloppy and I think Hawthorn are playing out the pressure game a bit better than us.

He looks a bit heavy legged, pre-season related no doubt.

Contract year Dale seems to be back. And Libba didn't tear his ACL at the end there.

    Daniel was good. Very good

I'm worried about JJ. As far as senior players go, can we carry his quiet periods? Daniel and Bailey Williams will provide the running rebound and Crozier can kick long. I have Duryea ahead of JJ simply on defensive ability.

Agree the ruck looked ok but I'll keep the poweder dry until they come up against the likes of Grundy, Nankervis, Gawn etc.

    McNeil looked lively, agreed.

Dale was putrid in the second half.

That hit out looked like a carbon copy of our middling 2020 performances for mine. Not sure why we went dark mode over pre-season going by that.
