    Is there a 3rd option?

If the game is going to be this open JJ’s pace is going to be an asset.

Gee Kumus has some confidence. Great kick to English and finish by McNeil.

Practise matches are usually open, not much defense

I have enjoyed Martin’s body work against Gawn. Been a long time since we haven’t been completely bashed up in the ruck against the Dees.

Funnily enough the one area we have improved is ruck after we finally wilted to get a second one. If stubborn Bevo opened his mind a bit we’d make the other obvious adjustments but we’ll have to play the waiting game.
    What are the obvious adjustments?

Daniel has gone to another level.

Been watching Buku closely and he has improved a lot. Still figuring out positioning and reading the play but he competes well in the air, was solid in a couple of ground balls and has nice skills.

Loved that he went the kick to English which opened up the play instead of the safe but defensive option.

Looks like when he came on, Keath went forward.

Not sure about Dale in the backline

Does it really take a mastermind forwards coach to say don’t lead to the same spots, apply defensive pressure, don’t all go for the mark, don’t all wait for the drop, know lead patterns and hit up a leading forward?

The midfield and defensive problems also appear to be players not having concentration but how long can you blame a group of players who keep getting games?

No improvement for years is a coaching problem.
