Lovely we get to wait all pre-season to see the same thing.
- No improvement in ball movement.
- Miss easy goals
- Give up easy goals
- Make scoring hard work
- Play 2-3 rookies who are miles away.

So easy out of the stoppages for Melbourne. Our much vaunted on ball brigade doesn’t care much for manning up.

Naughton getting a bath so far. I think all the reports of him ‘flying’ over preseason says more about who he was playing on and less about him.

He hasn’t gotten near it. Would argue the delivery in and work of his fee low forwards haven’t made it easier

He hasn’t gotten near it and his opponent is racking them up.

Needs to learn to lead and give a target, not stand back

Pretty ugly display and more so that the same issues we've had for 3-4 years are still present. Our midfields blatant refusal to block space and run the other way is quite remarkable.
Our defenders can't defend and our forwards have no cohesion. If Bruce and Naughton go for the same ball one more time......
The only area we look different or better in, is the ruck. At least we're competitive now.

Not a pretty game to watch. Same old with set shot kicking. Should have at least 3 or 4 more on the board

When he leads we kick it over his head. He had May cold in the first qtr and Hunter bombed it over his head.. got to hit up the leading player, especially against May is so strong one on one.

Jay sus glad I can't watch this one by tbe sounds of things. Anyone playing well?
Can anyone provide score update and time please?
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

We should be right by about round 16 and come home with a wet sail to steal 7th or 8th spot.
