If port don’t win tonight, they can’t win the flag.

    Bloody good game this.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

The AFL is strategically insipid. Aussie rules coaches in general have nfi.
Just employ one championship level manager from the UK and you'll work out how to beat Richmond.

Don't kick it long down the line would be a good start.

Maybe hold possession. They sweat on the ground ball.

Enjoyable match after port left the door ajar with lots of missed set shots. Good to see Richmond 2-2 after 4 games.

Move it quickly by hand, don't bomb it down the line and put pressure on the ball carrier when in transition. It's so *!*!*!*!ing simple and yet nobody does it

Didn’t Sydney do it just last week?

Allow me to be captain obvious but how good are Dustin Martin and Robbie Gray?

Port’s kick off strategy was poor last night. It would have had something to do with Allir doing majority of the kick ins but that is one area they could improve on.

I’ll be interested to see how long Marlon Pickett lasts in the game. For a dual premiership player he still seems to me, not AFL standard.

    Absolutely that was the template.

Port were frustrating last night. Learnt nothing from previous years. They'll get smashed at the G.

Exactly the same rounds they lost last year.

    I'm over bloody Richmond now

Yup, turns out that if you don't let Richmond execute their gameplan then they really struggle.

Saints getting shown up again. They went hard in recruiting so questions could be asked quickly.
I thought they dropped away significantly in the 2nd half of last season and whilst they got the finals win against us that was an awful performance by the dogs and yet still a close game

    Edit: what an incredible turnaround
