Sorry I meant McNeil and Scott. What do we think they bring to the side that say Duryea, Jong, Hayes, JJ etc don’t?

I'm speculating that Bevo sees the pace of O'Neil and the decision making and versatility with Scott as something he can work with
He will give them a decent go at it if we follow the Hayes experience.
I hope they give it a great go and really grasp their chances.

Sorry, I misunderstood.
McNeil has alot of pace and is more a forward half player than the others. I don't know much about Scott, as it was hard to tell watching him on TV.

McNeil arrived at the club as a midfielder, although he may well find himself playing more forward for us. Scott played forward and midfield for Footscray I believe, which is why the potential move back is surprising.

I'm still holding out hope that Bevo played Scott on Breust vs Hawks as a learning experience so show him how a gun mid size forward goes about it.

Stringer, that ruck rookie who parted ways mid season?
I agree JJ is safe

Possibly. Who knows for sure.

Riley West should have been a lock, imo. Very stiff.
Our forward line contains one actual forward.

Someone needed to come out for another defender in Duryea, West was the unlucky one.

Solid team, if we can leave the likes of JJ out we have no excuses
Agree with Comrade that West is unlucky

Yeah I would have played West ahead of McNeil we need to see what this kid can do.
I'm glad Duryea is in, he is definitely an organiser in defence we need some experience down there.

No JJ is a shocking oversight. I know its against the hive mind but he’s better than at least 8 of those other guys. Feels like we’re cutting our nose off with whatever point we’re trying to prove.

Re: WB Game Day V Collingwood R1 2021
A tad worried we have Vandermeer and Treloar with history of soft tissue injuries plus Duryea with his not great injury record with us all in 22 vs West who needs some senior games soon as I think he is our potential Libba successor. Positive is Vandermeer & Treloar both quick and Duryea adds a wise head to an inexperienced backline apart from Daniel.
Good to see Schache as emergency as reward for his good form in preseason. Would love to have seen Cavarra picked but good there is competition for spots.
Key to this match i reckon is how well our big blokes; Bruce, Naughts, English & Martin perform.
Go Dogs!!!
