Didn’t need that, but really impressed with the marking of the dogs, especially English and naughton.

Its a gusty wind its actually relaxed a bit since the start but it certainly favoured Brisbane.

Vanda having a few brain fades. Talls doing well, fwd and back. Our attack on the ball is right where it needs to be. I think we are doing well with our field kicking in general, so good signs. Just can’t allow them any easy goals next quarter, and we still have to continue to work hard, even with the breeze.

He’s been pretty good. Great chase and tackle. Set a helicopter record.

Solid start by the boys. Timmy looks like he’s on for a good one.

Good quarter but bloody hell Vander. It's a shit rule or at least too harsh a penalty

Lewy Young first quarter? We all knew he was good, hope he keeps it up.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

I think there was a period of 3 in the space of 10 seconds that weren’t paid to us.

He's had more touches than Gardner had last year

Nice start into the wind... our ability to spread from the contest is hurting Brisbane and big Timmy had an excellent qtr to capitalise.

A similar work rate in this qtr should hopefully open up a handy break at 1/2 time.

Pleasing start, focused from the first bounce, but Wood needs to stop hatching the footy when looking to exit defensive fifty, it's so at odds with the way we play.
