Hi absence cannot be understated. His has been pretty equal to our best player over the past 6 weeks and not having him out there is going to hurt us dearly.
You would expect he needs a reco.
So we have his last reco as a guide which was on the other shoulder in 2017. This is from his blog :

"Josh commenced the 2017 in good form, which even included playing some time in the Ruck. Unfortunately Josh suffered a shoulder injury in Round 4 requiring a full shoulder reconstruction. Josh was diligent in his recovery ensuring he didn't miss the rest of the season, which saw him return in Round 21 to play the remaining 3 games."

So it was a good 4 months last time, unfortunately have to expect the same as a worst case.

Agree it's going to hurt, he has driven the standard so far and been a real assistance to Treloar.

If we can remain top 4 and add Dunks before finals, would be a huge boost.

Will having Dunks out affect Treloar do you think? There’s an obvious bond there, and missing your BFF at the club, I hope Treloar doesn’t go into his shell.
I will never see #16 the same!!

He and Smith might have to fill the gap of his loss with more inside time which will shift the balance a bit. Unless a Lipinski, West or even Garcia stand up.

Dunks will be there everyday, and Treloar will do what he can to make sure we’re playing finals for Dunks to return to.

Exactly what it was, though pretty sure not one question was asked just a bunch of leading sentences.

I'm not going to listen to it again but they talked about 3rd man up being removed and new mark rules. I thought it was really interesting conversation. I usually get bored and turn them off but watched the whole thing.

Was it the shh sign he gave his home crowd in that final? That's what got me. Karma hit that smug prick between the eyes on GF day.

But why does he have to do stupid nasty things. He just can't help himself. Loved the way Wood stood up to him at least twice and basically showed we aren't going to take that bullshit he dishes out.

Dunks had already planned to stay in Sydney to catchup with family, so he hasn't flown down. Due to have scans as are Jong and English, although seems no structural damage to English.

I don't catch all of it, but SEN crunch time is usually a good analysis of the FRiday night game.

You can listen, skip etc the show here

Yeah just listened to it all and it was good. Channel 7 only showed about the first 5 minutes last night and it was all Jude Bolton but in the full 20 minute video Nicky Dal was asking the other questions.

Funnily enough ch7 spent 30 minutes talking about Nick asking questions and then cut the press conference short not showing any of his questions.

This is the thing that irks me. People like Dermie love Toby Greene, because he plays on the edge (which is code for he's a *!*!*!*!wit and is allowed to be because you know, AFL). However, Dermie doesn't like Bailey Smith because he reckons someone like Smith would get his head knocked off for sledging opponents (notwithstanding Dermie's weird attitude to people with mental illness and how he thinks they should behave).

So what does Dermie think would happen to someone like Greene who punches people like Caleb Daniel or gouges the eyes, pulls the hair and slams the head of prone people into the ground opportunistically? He'd have his jaw broken, that's what. Greene only does what he does because he knows there's no consequences yet people like Dermie love "the way he goes about it".
Nobody's looking for a puppeteer in today's wintry economic climate.
