I strongly disagree. Every game plan leaves you exposed in some facet. Ours is if we can look like a bad checkers player when we turn the ball over, unexpectedly when we're in attack mode and blokes are streaming forward as supporting expectant receivers.
Our key risk focus is to limit that to maybe 4-5 times a a week. If we do that then our strength is our ability for our tactics to offset that with the scoring we get from our tactical strengths.

We need to move the ball quicker and with more precision. I wanna see Smith, Vanda, Bont and Treloar kicking goals running thru the 50. Take the game on more. Scoreboard pressure will be paramount in such a tight struggle.
I will never see #16 the same!!

I agree with the need to convert our opportunities. That's a non-negotiable in any game plan.

I don't agree with it, but I would imagine that's part of the risk assessment for the game plan.
You have to pick a way to defend. We do what we do to protect our tall defenders and to also generate multiple opportunities up forward.
Who knows if another system would work better, it's kind of moot I guess.

The conditions don't quite suit us. It will be interesting to see what sort of energy we bring in the 2nd half.

Yes he does. Even mentioned the suspect handballs. Complete flog.

I see what you’re saying, but I’m just pointing out that the top teams (and we will most likely see it first hand next week) will make us pay more than 4-5 times a game if we allow Richmond say, to get from goal line to wing in 2 kicks.
Let’s hope I’m wrong.

Been saying for years, he is a prize knob and has nothing to contribute to the game.

Luke Hodge has pretty clear disdain for us........apparently no free kick to Naughton.

I hate to say it, and it won't be popular but all credit to GWS.
They are making our players accountable for mistakes, and they are matching our numbers at the ball. This is why we are finding it hard to find that break away handball. Hopefully we can turn our work rate up to a level that they cannot match. Just like the reserves game last night.
