A disappointing performance and WOOFER’s struggled giving votes. Jack Macrae (74 of possible 100) took the top votes from the Lachie Hunter (62) with Tim English (58) taking 3rd in his return from concussion. Bontempelli (25) took the minor vote from Naughton (15). Zaine Cordy (4), Bailey Dale (3), Roarke Smith (3), Hayden Crozier (2) recorded votes with Bailey Smith, Caleb Daniel, Josh Bruce and Jason Johannisen all recording a single vote.

Finally cracked a win at the new stadium with The Bont (129 of possible 132) leading the way. Aaron Naughton (56) was spectacular and may have challenged for top votes with improved conversion. Lachie Hunter (51) was well recognised ahead of Jack Macrae (32). Just outside the top 4 were Keath (26), Duryea (21) and Liberatore (12). Crozier, Dale and Weightman all recorded a single vote.

Again succumbed to the Geelong hoodoo, but feel it doesn’t weaken our aspirations for the ultimate prize. WOOFers voted unanimously for Libba (116 of possible 116) as the best performer. The Bont (78) was runner up from a deserving Taylor Duryea (39). Bailey Williams (14) narrowly scored the final point from Lachie Hunter (13), Josh Bruce (12) and Jack Macrae (12). Caleb Daniel and Alex Keath each recorded 3 votes.

This week we had the lowest number of eligible pups since Beveridge has been coach and with the loss of Aaron Naughton at half time there were only 2 other eligible players. While WOOfers struggled to award votes, top position goes to Cody Weightman(39 of possible 40) from Bailey Smith (19).

A magnificent performance in difficult circumstances led by the inspirational leader. WOOFers were unanimous for The Bont (112 of possible 112) from Bailey Smith (72), who returned to form. The consistent Jack Macrae (46) was third ahead of the flying machine AstroNaught (39). Another strong game from Taylor Duryea (8) and Lachie Hunter (3) as the only other scorer. There were numerous other players who contributed strongly without being in any WOOFer’s top 4.

Bailey Smith (49 of possible 56) was recognised for the improvement from recent form at the head of the pup voting from Aaron Naughton (34), with Ed Richards scoring a single vote in his return to the senior side.

After significant challenges negotiated through June the team got the points to kick off July. WOOFers were a little subdued with low voter participation, but 4 players dominated most of the votes. A strong vote for Libba (62 of possible 80) as our best from Bailey Dale (54), Cody Weightman (50) and Jack Macrae (26). Other votes to Cordy (3), Keath (2), Bailey Williams (2) and Bont with a single vote.

A disappointing result from a team looking really flat. Also a subdued turnout from WOOFers with a wide diversity of votes through 6 players. Top votes for Bailey Smith (64 of possible 84) as our best from Taylor Duryea (40), Alex Keath (38) and Tim English (25) taking the 4 scoring positions. Bont (21) and Daniel (15) were close up. Macrae (3), Libba (3) and Garcia (1) were the others to record votes.

A win is a win and while not greatly impressive we retain the top 2 position. The voting was very close with top votes for Bontempelli (81 of possible 104) on the last vote cast from Macrae (80). The rock of defence Alex Keath (43) took third place from Bailey Dale (22) with Bailey Smith (19) close up. Others to record votes were Daniel (9), English (4) and Hunter (2).

The team certainly came to play and Bontempelli (132 of possible 132) was clearly on a mission. In such a great team performance it is just incredible that he could just be such a standout. Jack Macrae (83) was also superb and Caleb Daniel (74) was also brilliant. Bailey Smith (18) took the minor place ahead of Duryea (8), Libba (6), Hunter (5) and Josh Schache (3) in the role that may save his career.
