Congrats to the player I hope will eventually be the most celebrated and most decorated player in our clubs history.

Re: Congratulations to Marcus Bontempelli - 150 Games

So, I have vivid memories of our greats from early 80's on.
I don't recall one announcing his greatness quite like the Bont did, maybe Chris Grant comes close with his first year feats.

But Bont stands out: his (robbed) goal of the year against Melbourne in his debut year. That made me think we had a 'special' player.
His feats in the 2016 finals, franked it all.
The dominating mark against Hodge, and 'The goal' in the prelim sealed his place amongst the greats.
150 games! So much more opportunities lie ahead for him to further his standing amongst the all time greats.
He's already surpassed my heroes Templeton and Grant, in my opinion, if he leads us to further success he'll be placed in the upper echelons of the all-time AFL greats.

The prelim goal is my all time favourite football moment. What a legend.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Such a treat to watch the Bont every week. 150 games - gee, the time / years just fly by.

Hopefully a few more flags in the next 150.

Well done Bont. Will be cheering on today.

Side note: someone needs to give Bont some feedback re his loud breathing in when speaking. He speaks well but it detracts a lot in my opinion.
