The three headed monster has kicked 4 of 6 goals. Probably something to it.

Use the corridor and move the ball quicker

Re: WB Game Day V Melbourne R11 2021
Gary Lyon and Jonathon Brown picked it out, although even a stopped clock is right twice a year. But they're right, the concentration was off and exhibited by two of our usually most switched on dude, in Bailey Smith and Bontempelli.
Smith fumbled early, but also when in defense just tuned out, Bont too in the goal McDonald got when hit up on the lead by Petracca.
We've got to fire up in the 3rd, and kick the first couple. Absolutely cannot let Melbourne get on the scoreboard first.

They scored 6 goals from turn overs.... we were just so sloppy, and seemingly bereft of the effort required around the contest.
But we started to look better in the second, apart from McDonald's 2 quick goals. We had the last 6 inside 50's.
Melbournes pressure has been fantastic and they’re simply out working us. They’ve dropped some easy marks though but then of course we coughed up more than that many kicks straight to them. At the end of the day we have too many troops down for me to be able to pass any real judgement from this game.

Was so frustrating watching that. We are better than that, and better than Melbourne

We must be the worst COVID side in the comp. Rounds 1 and 2 last year were abysmal and so was 1.5 quarters tonight. Why do we need a crowd to switch on?

If we do it's got to come from the coach with a massive look him right in the eyes challenge. He's been putrid and has to find another gear intensity wise.

Ok. Time to reset and start to put pressure on them like they did to us and cause TURNOVERS. Turn the tables on them. We can play so much better
They've done studies you know, 60% of the time, it works every time!

Yeah, I admit my heart sank when I realised it was a crowdless game.
It helps not, right now, but it should prove to our supporters just how massive their attendance and voice is to our boys.

I have faith in the group. The need to turn up the same pressure on Melbourne. Lower the eyes for kicks into the forward 50.
They will find a way to bridge this gap.
Cmon boyz, rally

I like what Rourke's done so far. Doesn't panic and kicks to advantage.

Lipinski playing himself out of a spot at this point. Been so disappointing.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

I hope we be competitive in the second half but more than anything I just don't want any more injuries.
I probably just need to adjust to this COVID crap again but I was so pumped for the game earlier this week. Then it died a little after lockdown but I was still pretty pumped. Then I switched on 5 minutes before the game and just felt empty. Then the game started and all I wanted to do was watch anything else.
