Thought Hunter was very impactful and really stood up when we needed to turn the tide so stiff but can’t ignore Marcus’ ability to put the team on his back and say this way boys!
Macrae, Bruce and Libba were consistent across the entire game. Keath and Dale also very good.

More of an In Bruges guy?
4. Bontempelli (32 possessions, 6 marks, 8 tackles, 679 metres gained, 10 clearances, 10 inside 50s, 12 score involvements - I know his kicking was off early but it was an increadible game).
3. Bruce (Great game that was even better than first glance when you consider he had to relieve Sweet in the ruck at times)

They've done studies you know, 60% of the time, it works every time!
Brian Fantana.
4. Bontempelli. Was the only mid having an impact and looking threatening for much of the game. Thought his physicality and ability to drive the ball forward was super important and offset some poor execution. Without him there is no way we are in a position to comeback and win that. Had heaps of important moments too.
3. Bruce. Stood up big time. Important marks, great kicking and was even a positive presence for his stints in the ruck. Very happy with him.
2. Keath. We were all terrified of McKay and Keath won almost every contest there that he could be expected to. Was the one defender that performed better than solid defensively. Great game
1. Daniel. Played his role as a defensive forward on Saad really well, Saad was a complete non factor. Last quarter back in defence was exceptional. Dont want to use him as a defensive forward again, but he can only do what was asked and he did that very well.
Treloar next in.
