    To finish top:

Dees win two, lose one (WCE @ WCE, Crows @ MCG, Geelong @ Geelong)
Dogs win two (Hawks & Power)

I’m already having nightmares about what Dixon will do to us without Keath.

Last round could end up ‘winner gets home final’.

Keath annihilated Dixon last time we played them, and Dixon only got near it late because Crozier decided to see what would happen if he put our back 6 under the most amount of pressure possible with his ball use.

Now - if Keath isn't there...

Saints v Cats will be an interesting watch. They're in decent form.

Saints beating Cats, so then Cats are desperate to beat Melbourne, would be nice.

Re: How Many More Wins Left In The H&A?

    2. WESTERN BULLDOGS (15-5, 138.1%)

To play: Hawthorn at UTAS Stadium*, Port Adelaide at Marvel Stadium

How do they lock up a top two spot? Win both games OR match the record of Geelong and Port Adelaide (ie: all three teams go 1-1)

Best case: Finish 1st if they go 2-0 AND Melbourne loses once

Worst case: Finish 4th if they lose both games and Geelong wins once OR if they lose to Port Adelaide AND Port Adelaide beats Carlton AND Geelong beats Melbourne

Analysis: The Bulldogs gave up their margin for error by losing to the Bombers, now needing to win out to guarantee themselves a home qualifying final. Their Round 23 clash with Port has become crucial; if the most likely results happen, that game will decide whether the Dogs finish first or fourth. (They would be likely to play an MCG qualifying final either way, assuming Victoria gets to host finals.)

Our prediction: Finish 1st and host Port Adelaide in a qualifying final.

Would be perfect it's in our control. I don't think Melbourne will beat Geelong.

I think they will, I could see Melbourne winning out and us playing Geelong week 1. The return of our KPD's will be crucial but not sure Bruce will be as big a loss as you can't bomb it in against Geelong (or Melbourne) anyway
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

    Who rucks instead of Bruce?

Losing Bruce really mucks with our structure and flexibility.
More of an In Bruges guy?

Not necessarily. Young could be a KPD & second ruck following a ruck/forward around. Hannan has played 2nd ruck a bit. We have a number of mids who play best when on the ball but because Bont is so damn good there they get moved somewhere else, whereas now Bont can go forward and bring the other guys into the game

Young's a great second ruck option he's actually more adept at positioning and tap work than Bruce, unfortunately he's just not as good a key back as Bruce is a key forward. We actually gain something by Young second rucking. I hope we swing Young forward as well he's proven he has the versatility and know how to play there and I think he's needed there now that we are one key down.

We need to put Hawks away, no mucking around, no missing set shots, take our opportunities, and set ourselves up for the finals.
