No for a few reasons (I'm in Hobart not Launceston, Wife's birthday, 1 year old to look after) but would love to, haven't seen them live since Morris' last game

    Definitely going to the beach.

This thread just took a really dark u-turn:

    If we don’t beat Port
    If Geelong have one win
If Brisbane beat Collingwood & WCE (both at the GABBA) by about 40 points each on average (6.4% from our loss, their wins)

Dogs finish 5th - likely opponent Essendon.

Giddy up, I’d say the chances of it happening is at least 50%
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

I’m stunned with the whiplash from on top and only needing to beat average sides to stay there, to possibly having Essendon pants us again in an EF.

There’s a line in Donnie Brasco when Sonny cracks it that if they don’t start earning, someone will get clipped (executed). If we got out in an EF from where we were 7 days ago. A lot of careers at our club will get clipped.

Even if we finish top 4, we’ll either play Geelong at their shithole or Port in Adelaide. A near guaranteed loss and then we’ll probably be pantsed by the lions swans. We’ve totally screwed our season.

Re: How Many More Wins Left In The H&A?

The irony is that if we lose next week but other results go our way, our good % keeps us in 3rd and means we’ll probably play Port in Adelaide. Awesome.

Instead of looking at it from a negative point of view, let's assume we beat Port, we will end up either 2nd or 3rd and have to play Melbourne or Geelong.

The Melbourne v Geelong game is shaping up to be interesting, and I am predicting Melbourne win that one.

I reckon we have upped our training loads, our mids have looked like plodders the last couple weeks

Wouldn't be surprised if we hit back next week

If we had been increasing our training loads, the likely removal of the pre-finals bye could be the final nail.

Our mids (Libba, Bont, Macrae & B.Smith) have carried a huge load through the year with no Dunkley & Treloar for a large part and it's taken it's toll.

We really needed Lipinski to step up and give some support, but his inability to assist in the centre square has been telling.
