I was surprised how good he is. So well balanced and covers the ground exceptionally. Gets it a heap and uses it very well.

Yeah he's pretty good once you start paying attention, which isn't something I'd really done until the weekend just gone.

For those that like a punt Miller could worth a couple of bucks in the Brownlow most votes section. He can't win it because of a mister meaner but he should poll well in a poor team.

Re: WB Game Day V Gold Coast Suns R18 2021
There was a bit of analysis of our defensive set up on AFL 360 tonight, showed examples of players such as Bazlenka and Hunter ball watching and allowing the opposition to find space too easily. Also highlighted how as a group we were like bees to honey rather than structuring up to stop the opponent from moving the ball from inside to outside the contest.
Apparently over the last month we're ranked dead last for opposition scores inside 50. That's a worry.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

The bees to honey piece is something I feel has been an issue from Eade's day! It's wall punch inducing sometimes.

No surprise with that stat considering the way we have struggled the last 3 weeks.
Not going to win a final with that stat. Needs to improve dramatically.
I will never see #16 the same!!

What’s more of a worry is our defenders are not getting out marked 1 on 1 it’s the ball watching as Comrade pointed out.

It's been abundantly evident that work rate has been down since the WCE game where our defencive set up was excellent, and transition was made very difficult for them.
There was a slight improvement last week, though too many uncontested marks were afforded GCS as were contested marks.

Hub syndrome? Hope they didn't pack the Evel Knieval costume.

Knackered, probably a bit surprised by how well Sydney played against us. From a post in another thread Sydney's been listed as the best ball mover in the competition and I think they genuinely caught us out.

I'd not be surprised to see a Cats v Swans GF, they were very impressive.

If the donuts at Fox Footy are able to recognise where it's falling down, you'd think our coaching group are all over it and we hopefully see a big improvement this week.
Ball watching combined with our defenders getting out-positioned or mistiming defensive efforts will not end well against Melbourne.
