Excellent half…. Gawn’s dominance has given them first look on most occasions, but in general we’re defending it well.

If you’re ever going to loose Keath it would be against this mob and in these conditions… hopefully it’s not a bad one.

This will be the key. Melb will come and we have to hold them. When we get our chance, we have to take them. This game reminds me of the Richmond game. We have to come out in the 3rd prepared for battle and not give them some easy goals.
I will never see #16 the same!!

Very happy with that. Tim English definitely fought back hard in the ruck after Gawn got right on top. We were under significant pressure in the first part of that quarter but the defence really stood up with Richards, Cordy, Duryea, Dale, Williams, Daniel and Schache all playing their part.

We can definitely take heart from the determination and courage on display. Half way there. Let's keep the pressure on. Go Dogs.

Very important lift by Jamarra late in the qtr. Needed to be better and was able to halve some contests and get involved.

That’s a real body blow about Keath. We can’t win the flag without him.

We need to get first hands on the ball a bit more I reckon. If we do we have got this

Doesn’t look like a bad one, hopefully that proves right.

    Schache doing well.
    Richards has been huge.
    Daniel very clean

An early goal or two will make it very tough. Let’s go!

Schache partially smoothers Fritsch, a sharp shooter, and then dumps it out of D50 with 8 seconds to go.

His post game review looks good. Another half like that will cover the loss of Keath. And if it dries out, we’ve got Scott for run and carry.

Like the rich game we started to get on top halfway thru the 2nd.
