I've said it a heap before but I really don't see any game sense from our guys, no tempo play or ability to understand the opposition maybe having a period of dominance, so let's blunt that the best we can.

We seem to go hard, one way, all the time.

It's not just winning the ball; teams are basically playing keepings off from us to great effect. We are struggling to get it back.

We need to adjust to this, maybe check the opponent a big closer, sit the zone deeper drop an extra behind the ball.

I don't see much of this at all (West Coast and Carlton games first time around maybe). I'm not sure if its an inability to sense the moment in a game from the leaders or the cupboards bare for ideas but this is not something I've just seen of late.

Maybe Bevo should just send that link to the team as a review

Is this a lack of leadership? Who’s out there to 1. Recognise the situation 2. Know what to do about it but 3. Tell everyone else what’s going on and what they need to do.

I have no idea. I don't know if we overly relied on the runner it seems unlikely.

i'll think we'll know in the first 2 minutes if we are switched on and the pressure is up. No excuses for backing off in case they miss playing finales by getting injured, it's all or nothing really if we blow this one.

On recent form, we are cooked.

On ability and season form we should win and get going again.

This is going to be tough to enjoy.

I think you can often tell when we are off early but sometimes we can look good in the first quarter and fade. We were all over Essendon early and should have been 5 goals up at quarter time.

Not defending Tim’s ruck work, but surely if you know that he’s unlikely to have an effect on the ruck contest, you anticipate that. This footage is a huge indictment on Baz. His movement after the ball is bounced is a massive nothing burger. I wouldn’t let him near a centre bounce after watching this.

After two poor results over the last two games, I have decided to abandon the occult as a means of match prediction. Tonight we go with the good old fashioned coin toss, "tails on the floor"", its the 'doggies.

    Dogs it is, margin irrelevant.

Agree DG. Our team managed to kick 5 goals and half of those were scored of Hawthorn's unforced errors. This was against a side near the bottom of the ladder ravaged by injuries. I just can't see a virtually unchanged line-up from that piss weak performance flick the switch and come out snarling.

I do hope I'm wrong on all fronts with team selections and predictions.

I think we’ll fight hard but lack the forward connection and firepower to kick a score and they’ll pull away late.
