Amazingly I was just talking to a mate about 85! Was in the (east coast) cheer squad had the dyed hair that day at Waverley in 85. (The semi v norf was a highlight).

We dug this up. I was 9, so didn’t really know if we were that good.....

I was a member of the cheers squad when that commercial was made. It was weird. We were asked to be at the footy an hour earlier that game. And we had to cheer and go off and wave the flags and all that sort of stuff for nearly twenty minutes. They used 2 seconds of footage

It’s such a weird season, I feel like I should be really lapping it up but I’ve been convinced for awhile that the list is capable of this level of footy so it is just a par result to be where we are.

I want the minor premiership, then the flag. I’ll really fire up when we close out the regular season.
