Was thinking the same thing. Geelong just know how to get those arsy snaps, bounce, run into open goal when the opposition just can’t get it thru their own sticks.

    Frustrating.

Only 4 goals scored in half a game of footy - pretty pathetic

A typical Geel goal after being completely outplayed in the first 4-5 mins

    Dropped their bundle now.

Give me the Cats at the MCG any day, we'll run them off their nursing home feet.

Question might be if we finish 3rd, would we get them at the G or that shithole they call a football stadium? They’d be demanding it be in geelong. Would the AFL bend?

2 Vic teams should ALWAYS be played at the MCG and if not, we should rightfully raise absolute hell.

I agree. If that situation arises though (us 3rd them 2nd) we’d better hope for no covid impacts. Any crowd limitations and they’ll send it down the highway.

I think the AFL would move heaven and earth to have finals played in front of a crowd, even if it meant playing a finals series interstate. It would take the entire country being locked down by Covid for it to be played at an empty GMHBA.

That would be the only situation that would send it down to Geelong. God help us.

The skill level of Carlton was really low. No wonder they can't win games.

Footscray would be razed to the ground. You cannot hold a final between two Vic teams at a ground with a capacity of 36k. The AFL would never squander the revenue an extra 40k people would bring in.
