The Moment: Rnd 21, 2021 vs Essendon

The moment, the best, most courageous moment that caught your eye in today's game against Essendon. Was it the moment that told you 'we've got this' or 'we lost this one right here'? Or was it the moment that you went 'wow....that is crazy courage.

Pretty much the opening bounce. No intensity about any of the body language.

The moment where it was truly out of reach was Bruce missing the snap shot. That murdered any momentum we had

I though Scott’s miss just before half time. Just was not our day in front of goals.

Jamarra from the goal square. ..

Peter wrights 3rd goal. When he kicks 2+ it’s not your day.

Yeah, Jamarra kicks that and we put a bit of a gap on them. Lazy kick, had a very disappointing night.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

I agree Josie, it was a telling miss amongst a number of missed opportunities.

The moment was when Dog God picked us to win

The moment that confirmed (as though we Bulldogs fans didn’t already know) footy is full of unfairness and heartache

From memory they kicked two quick goals to start the 2nd quarter. That was the signal for me that we were off the boil - tepid in fact.

When Peter Wright kicked his 3rd. That feeling oh no here is anotber crap forward we are going to let kick a bag. He was gerting good service from their mid field

Letting Draper dominate the ruck and getting smashed in the clearances was the final straw.

I thought we started well. We were all over them in the first 10 minutes but butchered it going forward. I actually thought we were going to flog them again. Thought we couldn’t lose. Then we missed easy shots. Gave them a sniff. And then it was a train wreck from then on. Our worst performance since the final last year.

The punch out of the centre from Draper that Shiel ran on to, just non competitive at the source

Me too. We were all over them like a bad suit and should have been four goals up at the first break. Then they went Saville Row and we went Forges of Footscray.

Scott's miss on half time for me summed it up, but could've picked any of the several easy misses, from either Bruce, Naughton or English.
