thanks for the barkly street podcast. Jongy was very much highly respected and loved by his team mates and the club.
His team mates loved his ferocity and not afaird of a contest.

Cant believe he played with a broken hand and was winning taping out in the ruck.
    Busted Collarbone
    ACL
    Hammy
    Really serious injuries

Just found this . My respect for him just went up to another level. Respect for any one who has had to go through rehab. I could not comprehend the toughness these men go through to rehab themselves.

287 days- 8 months to return from a ACL. Fair effort considering its normally 9 months

The focus and dedication to get everything right and then to get back into the team. Jongy your a champion!

287 days is 9.5 months. Kinda early but nothing heroic about it, its just a bit weak and subject to giving out but not like he was in pain. Other injuries though, yeah, strapping the wrong shoulder to take the field in a GF was tough
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.
