That’s why we’ve not played Martin in the second half of the year. He’s been fit the entire time. Bloody Sam Power penny pinching.

He's potentially still got some decent footy in front of him but I think he will be lucky to find another club unless it's for a contending team and perhaps as a rookie.
For Freo to only play him once after round round 8 (8 in a row before that) and leaving him one game shy of 150 games I wonder why they went out of their way to stop him triggering another 12 month deal?

I wouldn't think he offers us much.

Its hard to suggest its been anything other than a deliberate strategy

It stinks and I hope he gets all of his trigger year money deal

Houli is strange as I heard him on Triple M last Friday adamant that he wanted to play on next season. I suspect the club thought otherwise.

I suspect they've been discussing it all season - but its taken a while for him to come to terms with it

The Crows' favourite whopping boy. Fans will be at a loss of what to do now.
Last two years have been on rookie contract haven't they? 200+ games from a forth round pick, he's done well.

    A couple more

    * Zaharakis has not yet retired, but sources say he is not expected to be given a new contract by the Bombers

    * Jake Carlisle’s St Kilda career has come to an end.
