It’s like the footy gods decided to stick the knife in & then stomp on our heads just for good measure. Reality is not sure we’d have done much anyway making the four.

Silver lining is it’ll be over quicker for us. 2021 can go in the bin now.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

The footy Gods hate our guts. That was torture. They got absolutely everything in that last quarter. That free kick for a second attempt on goal for Berry changed the game. It was disgrace.

Yeah I can’t stomach to watch another game let alone 2. What I’m most annoyed at is that we’ll be dumped at the expense of Essendon. That’s the biggest kick in the nuts.

Depends from which perspective you look. As the long term custodians of the game it was incumbent upon the AFL to put marketing in front of integrity, an overall splendid result.

I’m with you. Feel your pain. Just hope the players are not as haunted as we are. Gotta beat the bombers, just have to, otherwise our funk will continue into 2022.

Can we start a "the moment" thread for that game?
