I’m not sure Vanders is offering anything either… our forwardline is totally dysfunctional.

    Dare I say it - he's a 3rd quarter specialist.

First goal of the last. It's all I ask.

Wasn't much in the Gardner incident he just held his ground.
    Good to see some passion.

    Great quarter by the lads.

    Weightman 4 v Essendon 4. Love it.

No one can convince me that Marra wouldn’t offer more than either VDM or Hannan.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Shhh. I think we got a couple of good ones that resulted in goals. Think of that as an evener.

Great effort by our boys, need to keep it up and hopefully get a couple of goals early.

He fumbles, and needed to kick that goal from set shot. Frustrating to watch. I can see why Melbourne let him go.

How was that deck from Merret not a free to Young for high contact ? Its a reportable incident, and commentators say its part and parcel of footy.

Also, they should report the punches to the head that Young received from Stringer in the middle of the ground. Just pathetic.

Really enjoying the hard fought contest the team is showing. Just need to get front position and get to the ball early and push forward.

Schache, Schache, Schache. So happy for you big fella.

Weightman, Weightman, Weightman. He is a serial pest and he is all OURS. Yay.

Go Dogs. Let’s bury them in this last quarter. And no injuries please footy gods.

That dropped mark was difficult because there were two players in front of him shielding the drop of the ball.

I wish VDM would get into the game more. Has the tools and is running hard and this is the day that he should be taking advantage of.

Dunkley lifted that quarter. I think we just played a littel smarter, wet weather football rather than Essendon at times trying to control the ball. Possession football is a dry weather game
