    Re: 2021 AFL Finals Series

They should have been playing like this all night, it's the only way they were ever going to win and should have gone into the contest swinging.

Dangerfield throw, Hawkins push in the face. Goal.

    But no outrage.

GWS have been impressive given all that stood against them tonight.

They actually have a lot of spirit. Respect.

Our key forwards would never get away with the shoving that Tomahawk gets away with. It’s like it’s just become acceptable for him and no one else.

So the bottom 3 of the eight drop out. Hopefully we can buck this trend.

I hope our forwards aren’t watching. No way they get away with murder. And Ch7 cheer leaders not saying shit.

But at least they don’t give a *!*!*!*! and everyone who knows it can *!*!*!*! off because it’s them or no one for RV commentators now.

I'm over Geelong getting an armchair ride from the men in yellow. But I'd be happy if they beat Melbourne next week so that we can slaughter them in the Grand Final

Geelong's win just reinforces how rare it is for the top 4 side to lose both finals. We're really going to have our work cut out for us tomorrow night, have to make it as difficult as possible for Brisbane to score.

    Re: 2021 AFL Finals Series

My Melbourne mate was praying for a GWS win. Said it would be a guaranteed finals berth.
Any side with Hawkins, Cameron and Rohan is dangerous (even though the latter 2 rarely play good finals).

Melb aren’t a shoe in, and Geel won’t let happen again what happened in round 23.
Melb will feel a lot of pressure and expectation next week. Top of the ladder, made pre Lim fairly easy.
I give Geel a solid chance next week.
I will never see #16 the same!!

    Yeah that wouldn't surprise me

.7% separated us in top 4, so will be a close game.

The stats over the home and away point to us being a far superior side, so we need to ensure we don't stuff this one up.

While Brisbane finished 4th, we are well and truly a top 4 side at our best and were for many more weeks than Brisbane. GWS, Essendon limped in and made up Numbers.

So, who have we got tonight?

I feel like as a neutral, I can't lose. I hate both teams - clearly Geelong much, much more so I'd actually prefer Melbourne to win.... But if they don't, the silver lining is their near perfect year ended in failure.

I tip Melbourne to pump them. I think the Dees have a really strong resolve in their side, and will run the Cats ragged.

But there's also every chance that Jez and Hawkins kick 8 between them (Gary Rohan obviously <10 touches, given it's a big final).

I want Melbourne to lose and also Geelong to lose.

Do the players hear the fake crowd?
I like the alliteration of 'Spargo' and 'Sparrow', they spar.
I want Demons to win because my father played for them and died in the year of their last premiership
I then want a repeat of my birth year in Droop St '54. Haha.
