Re: WOOF 2021 Finals Series MVP
Coaches votes very interesting… can’t quite work out what the breakdown must’ve been:
Western Bulldogs v Essendon
7 Tom Liberatore (WB)
6 Jack Macrae (WB)
5 Marcus Bontempelli (WB)
5 Cody Weightman (WB)
4 Darcy Parish (ESS)
2 Aaron Naughton (WB)
1 Jordan Ridley (ESS)

Here's my take on it:
Truck:
5 Jack Macrae
4 Darcy Parish
3 Tom Liberatore
2 Marcus Bontempelli
1 Jordan Ridley
Bevo:
5 Cody Weightman
4 Tom Liberatore
3 Marcus Bontempelli
2 Aaron Naughton
1 Jack Macrae

Rutten must have been struggling for ideas. Didn’t Naughts kick all of his 3 on Ridley in conditions not exactly suiting tall forwards?

Re: WOOF 2021 Finals Series MVP
Best in Finals
I believe this needs an award title and I suggest the Liam Picken Finals Specialist Award
Here is the tally Board after the elimination final against Essendon
Elimination Final 29 August 2021 in Launceston
Western Bulldogs maintain the Essendon finals losing streak
4 – Tom Liberatore
3 – Cody Weightman
2 – Jack Macrae
1 – Bailey Dale
Comments
A great performance with a contribution from the whole team, despite a slow start.
Top votes to Tom Liberatore (110 of possible 136) from the energiser Cody Weightman (95) ahead of Jack Macrae (57) and All Australian half back Bailey Dale (40). The hard running Lachie Hunter (16) headed the remainder, with Alex Keath (13) ahead of Easton Wood, Josh Schache and Bailey Smith all receiving 2 votes. Tim English recorded a single vote.

Seconded, although I'd just shorten it to the Picken award.
