I actually thought is was B Smith's fault but the Ch7 commentators carried on about Young. Smith was on the other side and casually strolled through.

B
- goal kicking; took our chances when we had them
- numbers at the ball in the second half, was main difference I though. They outnumbers us in 1st, us in 2nd
- winning an elimination final
A
- the ch7 commentary team. 8 unanswered goals and a 6 minute monologue about how bright easendons future is in the last quarter
- Devon Smith - little sniper who has lost all form he had at the giants
- none for our team

Bankers: Bevo’s late changes. My gut says they were always happening. Shack gave that impression in his post match interview

Btw can we put all this talk of Schache being bad in the wet to bed? That’s three of his best ever games in driving rain.

Good call. I thought he was excellent on Sunday. Not just his 2 goals, but he made some great plays crashing into packs to win the ball at some key 50-50 moments. Didn’t fumble and made the right decision quickly. Having his skills for a big man is a real weapon. Keep it up Josh.

He's better in the wet than he is the dry. His lack of acceleration is completely hidden in the wet and his skill level really shines.

Yeah the rain covers over our generally slow foot speed and brings our elite hand skills to the fore across the team. We play our game in the wet, not anyone else's. Also other teams' ability to exert manic pressure drops off in the wet, which is our main weakness.
So the big Banker is the weather.
Agreed, no Anchors for us this week.
