Sorry az my comment wasn’t meant to be a crack. I was legit confused as I took it completely differently on face value. Let’s hope he’s good to go because it’s a tough ask that’ll be a lot tougher without him.

The difficultly level of Baz’s last goal was massive.
State of the game.
Gut run to get to that position (he was level with JJ when he kicked it).
Running at full speed.
Angle.
Wrong side of his body.

It was an incredible goal, no doubt. The 'ice in my veins' celebration with Brisbane fans flipping him the bird took it to iconic moment level.

I hope they cried all night and enjoy a longer preseason after going out in straight sets.

Let's not pretend we don't have plenty that would do the same.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a large number of our supporters flipping someone the bird. But agree with the premise.

Gotta love the chutzpah from Baz. If we ended up losing from there, he would have been mocked from all and sundry over the celebration yet he just fully sent it.

That’s why we love a crowd in the stadium, even hostile. Gotta love the passion of youth. Our kinda version of the Lynch choke.

All good mate, emotions running high and lets face it Bont injured = emotions running high on overdrive!
You know what though, I'm quietly confident with or without Bont this saturday night.

We’ve beat them there this year.
Round 9: Bruce, Scott, McNeil, Sweet, Lipinski, Cordy
Now: Schache, Young, Gardner, English, Dunkley, VDM,
?? Bont, Cody
With exception of Bruce. We are better off going there again.

On paper those ins are stronger.
We lost to them only a couple of weeks back, yes they dominated on ground and not on the scoreboard, but gee we had a lot of our big name players down.
No reason why we can't and shouldn't get it done.
