    Dunkley The Negator

Smashed Parish after half time. Helped turn the game.

Worked over Lachie Neale in a one point win.

Tonight spent time on a few. I think Boak mainly (happy to be corrected)

Whilst still accumulates good numbers, on top of huge tackle numbers. I’m wrapt Bevo has gone with a negator, not a dour tagger, but Dunkley started the year with mega numbers. When it’s counted, he’s sacrificed his game for the team and done really well.

    On ya Dunks.

So who would you send him to in the Grand Final? Petracca or Oliver?

Why not both as the need arises?

Or start him on the bench if you’re in the Ken Hinkley school of thinking.

What was Palpateen thinking? Drew had an impact when he took Libba in the second.

I think if we stop it at the source early... that helps us..so Dunks to Oliver at the start.

Finals intensity football was made for Dunkley. He likes it contested and dirty. He likes it tough. He will do a job in two weeks, no doubt. He is better suited to Oliver, Trac is a little bit too explosive for him I think.

    Re: Dunkley The Negator

Send him to Oliver. He's become so good at charging through stoppages and getting it into really dangerous attacking areas for the Dees, if we can blunt that by 10-20% it'll help us a lot.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

I'd stick Dunks on Oliver, feel he's the danger man out of the middle for them.

    Re: Dunkley The Negator

It’s a pretty big weapon for us that neither Dunkley or Treloar have played against Melbourne this year… gives our team a completely different look.

Dunks was big again, just a bull around the ball and his defensive work was first rate. As with others he goes to Clarry.

Ta. I couldn’t remember precisely. Boak & Gray seem the same to me in my minds eye. Great 10 last quarters by Dunks. Instrumental in all three finals.

Watched every first half stoppage trying to work out if there was a pattern to Dunks opponent and he was on a variety of players from what I could tell.

Yeah I think he was just playing. He is a superstar jet gun midfielder after all.

I certainly hope he wasn't on Wines anyway.
