Re: Dogs, Dees taking different training approach to Grand Final
Who else's Saturday night is basically waiting around to hear if someone pinged a hammy in the Demons' scratch match?
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

I've got the NRL on in the background. It's not very inspiring

They don’t really have any selection headaches and Jones is back in Melbourne, but maybe they think they don’t need an extra tall up forward?
Turns out its Spargo.
How ever will the Dees cope without their literal worst player? Why does god keep giving them his harshest tests?

Spargo is a goal kicker for them, though. Kicked 17 for the year. Not huge by any means, but still something.
Worth noting that he has played every game for the Dees this year, so they obviously value him. Steven May just running laps is the more interesting part to me.

Any best 22 out weakens them.

Spargo suuuuuuuuuuuucks and is apparently of more use as a plot device than a player.

As an aside, his Grand dad played for Footscray

Spargo has been good for them. Great kick, hits targets, thinks quick and hits the scoreboard. He's an annoying player that gets under your guard, no world beater but like I said.
Anyway, is he injured?
