Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

We're an exciting team when we get on a roll. It all starts next quarter for us and lets hope Melbourne continue to be inaccurate with their goal kicking.

If they tag Bont who do we have that will rip them apart? Smith or Treloar?
Petracca’s been good. Whose playing on him? Like a bull the way he shrugs tackles.

Same. Looked like a completely different team. Hate to say it but we are missing Gardner.
How many times does Fritsch just drop the ball in a tackle and not get htb
I will never see #16 the same!!

He’s on the bont a lot. Great match up. Oliver went quiet that quarter.
We need a lift from Cody and mulletman

So big Bont kicking straight - confidence builder for him & the side. Hunter too although that kick just before half time should have been a goal too.
Treloar - take a bow, those snaps were elite. And Naughts.

English and Schache just need to take a few more marks, and we need to try to stop Gawn taking intercept marks.
Can someone please hold a tackle on Petracca.

Re: Melbourne V Western Bulldogs - 2021 Grand Final Thread
If we can stop the piss easy turnovers near goal, then we are notionally better next half. Got to keep the rage.
Martin & English looked better then.
Schache doing the job. Could’ve had two.
JJ doing the defensive stuff better.
Treloar stepped up with Bonts.
Weightman has plenty of ways to impact next half.
Dale & Williams owe the team. I hope they pay it back.
Need to quieter Petracca. Does Dunkley run with him?
Despite the start, leading at half time in a GF. If we can smash them again this quarter the seeds of doubt will get into their minds.

Geez, the spirit of the group.
Unbelievable.
Come on boys.
Bont was incredible. Treloar too. Naughty looks like he could get a handle on May.

Re: Melbourne V Western Bulldogs - 2021 Grand Final Thread
Just checked the stats on AFL and it appears neither May or Lever has marked the ball yet. A Bevo masterclass?
8 point lead is nothing but if we get the first couple of goals in the 3rd it will start to instill some doubt in Melbourne's minds.
