Great effort considering he's had next to no help too.

    Re: Aaron Naughton's Goal-Kicking

Naughton creates pretty much all of our goals. If he's not the one leading, he's the one in the contest getting it to ground or will have had some involvement off the ground. He's the most valuable forward to any team in the AFL.

He is still a very frustrating shot but went at ~60% this year so improving

    Re: Aaron Naughton's Goal-Kicking

Top 10 Goal Kickers this year:

    Curnow 64.42 (60.4%)
    Lynch 60.25 (70.5%)
    J.Cameron 59.32 (64.8%)
    Hawkins 59.36 (62.1%)
    Wright 53.26 (67.1%)
    King 52.41 (55.9%)
    Naughton 51.33 (60.7%)
    Franklin 50.26 (65.7%)
    Fritsch 50.21 (70.4%)
    C.Cameron 47.18 (72.3%)

So Naughton is the 7th best converter on the basic goals/points ratio (obviously a lot of other elements that go into that). 70%+ looks like it is elite.

    He really improved this season.

A few hair pullers but the most part nailed the ones he should have.

I would like to see a stat for hitting the post.
It feels he would be light years ahead in that category.

I don't like the guy, but Lynch's accuracy is incredible. He does very well to get a lot of his shots closer to goal too which I'm not sure is system or his individual brilliance.

It's because his skinny, pre teen head lines up perfectly with the gap between goalposts.
