Re: Preseason Training 2022
Seems hard to think that season 2022 won't be impacted by reduced crowds, maybe fixture changes etc.
2 years on and it's all still happening. Crazy. Up here in QLD we've had hardly any until the past 4 weeks and now it's getting more disruptive with long testing queues, school return delayed (FFS!!!) and no RATs to go around... empty shelves at supermarkets etc.
Hopefully we see a peak and we actually find a "new normal" that is actually... well... normal.

The AFL has done a sensational job to keep the game flowing over the last two very challenging years but if there is a significant disruption again this year they will struggle to get crowds back. Right at this moment I'd struggle to get motivated to sit in a big crowded game and I miss footy a lot.

The lack of RATs and the mixed messaging between fed and states is the biggest cluster *!*!*!*! you’ll ever see. Two years in and we’re here lol.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

How were they meant to know that what every other country in the world was doing would eventually need to happen here?!?! You can't be expecting them to learn from global precedent, or show some sort of foresight??
The main thing is that Jerry Harvey and Chemist Warehouse are getting their profits from RAT sales.

Sorry to derail this thread...
Arthur Jones arrived at the club this week and is spending a heap of time with JUH which shouldn't come as a shock.
More of an In Bruges guy?

Will let it slide this one time!

We will have a significant number of RATs available in the next 2 weeks.
Some of the Chinese manufactures are even working through their new year to supply Australia.

I said g'day to LVD in Mooroopna yesterday while dropping off some stuff, on a morning walk with his mum.

Unfortunately Smith Street Band has postponed again, the reason for us going so hopefully there'll be a bar or beer garden open for us instead.

Yes BAD being so far away is difficult specially for my wife who had booked tickets to go to Melbourne but my daughter thought it was too much of a risk for my wife and possibly myself.

I'm sorry that's a lot of words for "my daughter is getting macaroons before you" and I'm not here for it.
