Jeez, when you list all the girls we’ve lost like that…. F**k me the rate of expansion in the AFLW makes me angry. It should never have happened that quickly
Wake me up when we get to heaven, let me sleep if we're going to hell

Good luck, for your sake I hope heaven and hell are really there, but I wouldn't hold my breath

And we all found heaven - 2016 Premiers!

I think it echoes many years with the men's teams as well. We will never build a dynasty until we can establish ourselves as a destination club. How we can do that is an important question. We don't have the traditions of sustained success (Carlton, Collingwood, Richmond and (choke, gasp) Essendon. We don't have the lifestyle attractions of Geelong, Sydney, Brisbane or Perth, nor do we have the quasi pretentiousness of a Melbourne.

We need to work towards being a club all players want to be a part of. How we can do that is a big question we need to find an answer to.

Well if I bother watching it I'll go for the Lions because I can't stand Melbourne.

Only Katie Lynch made the AA team. Breanna Moody of all people is the AA ruck over Edmonds.

Disgraceful that Edmonds not picked as the AA ruck

She was very hard done by. The argument seemed to be that Moody did more around the ground.

I didn't watch many non Bulldogs games but I thought Edmonds was excellent, her ability to tap to advantage was not something I've seen much of in AFLW and had direct correlation to our improvement as a team.

In the last round when we played Carlton:
    Edmonds: 28 hitouts, 10 disposals, 8 tackles, 4 clearances
    Moody: 20 hitouts, 12 disposals, 1 tackle, 5 clearances

    Re: Aflw 2022

By virtue of my son's football club hosting an event to promote a possible Lion's GF berth a couple of week's ago, we're off to the match tomorrow and my son and 17 other kids from his club were invited to participate in the GF event and present the premiership medallions.

Interesting it's being held out at Springfield and not the GABBA? I presume the GABBA is in cricket preparation mode.

That's what I presume is happening, getting it ready for summer.

    Re: Aflw 2022

    Ellie Blackburn – 94 votes
    Alice Edmonds – 78
    Isabelle Pritchard – 70
    Kirsty Lamb – 61
    Jess Fitzgerald – 49
    Katie Lynch – 39
    Deanna Berry – 37
    Sarah Hartwig – 33
    Isabella Grant – 31
    Rylie Wilcox – 30

I had four of the top six, kinda surprised that Berry was so high but she applies a lot of pressure so that's probably why even though I'm not her biggest fan.

A surprisingly very low number of votes for All-Australian Katie Lynch I would have thought.

I believe Marc Webbs wife Lisa has been appointed as the coach of Fremantles AFLW side. She was the midfield coach for our side.
