Maybe but she's irreplaceable. Rare talent think Chris Grant if she wasn't injured so much.
Has to be at least two first rounders.

Didn't we get Izzy with the number one draft pick which was compensation for losing players?

It sucks but better her than Ellie.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Sucks but cant really blame her.

As she basically says the AFLW is not rewarding enough for her decision to be solely about that, and if she gets a good opportunity elsewhere as she has in this case then she has to take it. Hope it works out for her and we get good compensation back. It's pretty hard to get angry with players asking for moves in what is a semi-pro comp at best.

Maybe just don't play at all if it's not rewarding enough.

Money doesn't grow on trees, if the competition isn't generating the dollars then that's the hard cold truth of the situation.

I'm different to most, I don't like the idea of players being mercenary because it's semi-pro.

Surely we had a matching offer, it's clearly a personal choice and although I don't begrudge her personal choice she's also dead to me xD

Wonder how much we paid to rehab her knee x 3?

Fair to read between the lines with Debbie Lee - that's probably a nice way of saying we're pretty pi55ed.

“Given Izzy’s standing in the game, her achievements to date and the Club’s investment in her development, we’ll work hard to ensure we are appropriately compensated through the AFLW’s player movement structure.”

Hmm - I'd have them on a par. Huntington probably more upside at their relative age.

One thing I'm hoping from this is that the off field dollars we would have offered her will be redeployed to successfully retain Toogood. Speaking of which, I see Bonnie will be representing the club in the GF sprint which can only be a good sign.

Huntington is a significantly bigger talent but after 3 ACLs, I would still prefer to keep the far less injury prone player.

We lost Lambert and traded pick 3 and obtained 1,4 and 12. Pick 1 was used on Huntington and pick 4 was used on Conti whilst pick 12 was traded for Berry.

Collingwood used pick 3 on Molloy and with Lambert has done very, very well out of this trade. Though we fortunately, got pick 1 from Conti leaving, Newton hasn't shown much far (partly due to injury).

Yes Toogood as far as durability goes you would keep her. May Huntington is looking at the money because it's one more knee and it over you would say.
I hope GWS don't get reward with what we have missed out on.
