Something very broken.
The shift of blame to the players lack of fitness would have gone over like a led balloon I'd expect.
The AFL will no doubt be asking what’s going on and fix it !
Maybe the club got the shits with the way the AFL treated us when new clubs came in and we got nothing.
Not sure where we go from here.
They say our men’s team needed a review well the women’s set up needs a defribulator.

Re: Aflw 2022/2023
I saw the Newton and Lynch news on the AFL website today. I'm so unbelievably sad about our AFLW team. I'm glad I saw the premiership at Ikon Park, because it's been a tragic decline ever since.

Absolutely no word coming out of the club about the AFLW team. I’m thinking a whole lot of soul searching has to be going on.

Watched last quarter of today?s game. Was a low scoring, high standard. Bravo Roos, hope they can beat Lions in GF.
Makes me realise how far behind we are.
Our Ellie is a consummate professional, including her special comments.

Re: Aflw 2022/2023
Sorry Josie, I would go for the Lions based on Kearney and Bruton and the reason our midfield has struggled since.
But to be honest I lost interest once the dogs played their last game.

I've come to understand Kearney and Bruton. As savage as it was, at the time they left, a friend pointed out to me that we'd decided to recruit from Unimelb's team and that was a bit of an error given that team's close ties to North Melb and the inevitability of North making it in to the comp.
It's Katie Brennan and to a slightly lesser extent Conti I'll never get over. Conti in particular seems to have been an unforced error on our part.
If I had to pick a team I'd pick the Roos, only for a bit of variety. Bit harsh on the Lions who have been challenging for years, but there you go.

Bruton actually was recruited from the St Kilda Sharks.
Kearney was a teacher who was given a plumb job at North's community arm, The Huddle, which is partly funded by a wealthy club benefactor and union basher, Peter Scanlon.
Go Lions.

Yeah, I really get it. I’m hanging in there for now, and have renewed my AFLW membership for next year. If Ellie, Lamb or Wilcox leaves that might be final straw for me. Newton leaving upsets me as I feel she’s really just starting to show her talent as the 2019 no. 1 pick. Invested all that time and wooshka, she’s gone. I’m hoping Club can stop the continued exit of our good players. The Club really needs to make an announcement on what it’s doing soon (surely an in depth review is warranted) or they’ll continue to lose supporters.
Interesting to see Bailey Hunt was delisted, one of our inaugural players.
Have any woofers done a count on how many of the other clubs have our exes, compared to the other inaugural club Dees?

Pretty sure her partner is Garner who also plays at North. Don't know if that predated her switch across.
I should leave it alone but you're not right
