Re: Aflw 2022
Great last quarter by the girls to win by three points.
Some big marks in that last quarter.
Lamby was great.
3 zip is a fantastic start by our young side.

Lamb, Grant, Newton. Huge in the last.
Grant so composed in the last and her decision making was spot on.

Her last 5 to 10 minutes was immense.
Best I have seen from her.

Re: Aflw 2022
Lynch’s big marks in defence were good today too. We’ve l lost a few good players but picked up some good ones too. Lamb was fantastic today. Wilcox running goal and Newton’s magnificent pack mark and goal we’re highlights.

Indeed. I was pretty underwhelmed with her as a number one pick after her first two seasons but she's really proved me wrong. There was no sign of her contested marking ability but she's now terrific in that and other respects.
It's real justice that we have her and that Edmonds is blossoming in the ruck after losing Conti and Brennan to Richmond.

Re: Aflw 2022
Contested marking is winning us games at the moment. Moody, Cranston, Grant, Lamb, Lynch, Dee, and Gabby have all had really clutch moments aerially across the three wins. They are gold in this competition.
So impressed with what they’ve dished up at the contest, even though yesterday was a bit weaker than the first two games right at the coal face. Hickey in the huddle mentioned she thought the heat from our players wasn’t quite where it needed to be defensively, felt accurate.
Ellie Blackburn gave an interview post game that had me absolutely buzzing as a fan of this club. She’s doesn’t have to do a great deal more to put her name up with the genuine greats of the Club. Highly recommend you seek it out.

^^^^ Spot on SoS with Ellie Blackburn. I’ll say it again her concern and care for Brit last week has been undersold. Then to bring the girls together during the week and to turn up and again play a contested brand of football.
Fierce Women play here is just not a marketing tagline - it is real.

Yep she truly loves the club. When you consider how many players we lost from last season it is a huge credit to our current team and well done Burkey.

She is great and has followed through on the rhetoric.
I heard Katie Brennan speaking in the same manner about her love for the club; really had me sucked in.

The glass is always full ! Gas replaces liquid, or for me more like hot air

Lions are our big competitors this season, two scores of 60+ and look like they'll get close to that against the Suns.

Erin Phillips visited Brit in hospital as well. I thought that was brilliant
