Is Travis Head being a quick scoring batsman a recent thing? A century off 113 deliveries on a green top when the team was in a precarious position is a fair achievement.
Didn't like the way he went out but he's had a great series for a player who had some questions marks around holding his position.

Lyon and Boland get us to a respectful 303 and England are already 1 down for 2 runs via a run out

How desperate do you need to be to turn the strike over with that? Just let the ball hit the middle of the bat and settle in FFS.

David Warner what a disappointment. Broad gets him for the 14th time.

    Australia now 2/5

At 3 for 37 we will have to bat well in the first session to build a decent lead.
Smith has had a lean series and we really need a decent score from him today.

Things not going our way, Smith needs to have a big innings to save us and Green has a great chance to establish himself as a test standard batsman.
We have to get this lead to 275 plus.

He hasn't lived up to his normal run scoring standards against what has been a disorganised opposition.

Can we get this lead above 250?

We are close to that mark but 8 down now and Cummins looks to be struggling with the bat at the moment with some good bowling from Wood and Broad.
