Dogs that won flags at other clubs.

So Lippa or Dunkley will join this club. Former dogs with a premiership medal after trading away from us.

Whose else is there in the club? Obviously Shane Ellen & Brian Lake tops the most notable list. With a Normie/5 goals respectively.

    Edit - List:

    Lippa/Dunkley
    Lake x 3
    Ellen
    Montgomery
    Thorpe
    McGhie
    Koster
    Mahoney
    Hogg

Could Lippa get dropped for Adams?

No. Some twisted Bulldogs supporters are hoping that to justify us "letting him go" But he won't be dropped, had a poor first half but didn't do that bad in the 2nd half.

Itd be harsh given he's played every game when healthy.

Lippa left for opportunity, as opposed to the boring hot pocket mercenary that tried to leave earlier without notice. Won’t even bother mentioning his name. Hope we add Lippa to list on Saturday. And pick 17 is a tad better then 18 (or whatever we are left with after AFEL concocts their mysterious compensation recipe).

I know at least 3 pies supporters who want him out. I agree that it's unlikely, and won't begrudge him if he wins one.

I've tried to be annoyed about Dunkley but as long as he doesn't get on the podium and say "f you dogs, f U Bevo" then I don't think I will care.

What if he is thinking it?

I hope Lippa gets a game. Wouldn't be surprised if he made way for Adams.

Dunkley winning one wouldn't have bothered me if we traded him for maximum compensation when I wanted it to happen. Can't have it both ways I guess.

    An obscure one.

Bill Aldag 1930 premiership player at Collingwood. Played 2 games with us and 5 at Collingwood in 3 years but snagged a premiership.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

And another. Billy Payne won a hat trick of VFL premierships with Carlton in 1906-7-8 after being recruited from Footscray in our VFA days

One side of my family is all Collingwood. They all think Lipinski is rubbish and to them his first half in the Prelim was the final nail in the coffin. Doubt that he plays the GF unless Collingwood get creative by replacing McStay with Adams.

Good friend is a Pies supporter and she keeps sending me texts during matches saying, do you want Lipinski back

I thought he was very poor Friday night. He may have just had a dirty night but I have heard pies fans being very frustrated with him this season.

One thing for sure is he wouldn't help us one bit right now. We need guys with intensity and physicality. I'd love his ball use sure, but we've got more fundamental issues to address first.
