I reckon there were a few hairy moments.

    Swans look scary good.
They didn't have time, imagine if he missed the kick he'd have still been swamped.

There was certainly 0 control which is not something anyone wants.
Pandemic also a little crazy. But, they got some video.

They just needed to get a ring of security around him with the players initially and then the security or police but it was too quick!

I loved it, but at the same time it was dicey AF and poorly thought through from a security perspective.

Chris Scott looked livid and I don’t blame him. Really it was quite farcical how it could go on for 30 mins ?
How buddy got out of that is beyond me.
Before buddy lined up, there should’ve been 6 of the biggest security guards at the ground within 5 metres of him, so that they could form a barrier around him before all the sheep stormed the ground.
I will never see #16 the same!!

The data behind Lance 'Buddy' Franklin's 1,000 AFL goals for Sydney and Hawthorn

    https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-03-...-vfl/100919332

Worth a read, especially how things have changed in different eras.

Clearly it was planned that the crowd be allowed on without being controlled.
I did not see a single player push or be pushed aggressively.
Buddy rode every pat on the head and had no fear or aggression in his eyes at anytime.

Zac Touhey had a fair clash with a fan all innocent but apparently a fair whack.
He lost his keys and phone and Zac followed him to give them back!
He thought he was going to deck him.
