    Comments

    Marmo

A terrific team effort well received by the WOOFer community giving votes. Despite a strong contribution across the team the votes were concentrated in a few players only.
Top spot to Bontempelli (89 of a possible 104) with an exceptional last quarter. Jamarra (67) in the best game of his career (to date) was brilliant also to ice the game, was runner-up narrowly from English (64).The minor vote goes to Ed Richards (22) also narrowly from Adam Treloar (17). Jack Macrae was the only other player to register with a single vote.

    James

Pup voting was headed by Jamarra (46 of possible 48) from Richards (26) and they were the only pups to be given votes.

    Marmo – Leaderboard

    31 - Tom Liberatore
    20 - Tim English
    19.5 – Jack Macrae
    19 – Bailey Smith
    17 - Bailey Dale
    16.5 Marcus Bontempelli
    15.5 - Aaron Naughton
    12 - Josh Dunkley

Libba holds a strong lead, but the pack chasing is quite congested.

    James Leaderboard

    17 - Aaron Naughton
    14 – Bailey Smith
    11 - Ed Richards
4 - Cody Weightman, Rhylee West, Jamarra Ugle-Hagan

Ed Richards moving to a position where he may challenge over the next few games.

    Marmo

Another disappointing effort and perhaps the end of hopes for finals or at the very least a display proving the side unfit for finals in 2022.
The WOOFer turnout was limited but there was the unaminous view of Josh Dunkley (60 of a possible 60) as the standout player ahead of Ed Richards (38). Bailey Smith (15) headed Tom Liberatore (13) in the minor positions. English (9), Naughton (7), Macrae and Garcia (2 each) and McNeil (1) were the others to register any votes.

    James
Pup voting was again clear for Richards (22 of possible 24 from Smith (9), Naughton (4) and Garcia (1).

    Marmo – Leaderboard

    34 - Tom Liberatore
    21 – Bailey Smith
    20 - Tim English
    19.5 – Jack Macrae
    19 - Josh Dunkley
    18 - Bailey Dale
    16.5 Marcus Bontempelli
    15.5 - Aaron Naughton

Libba now has an unassailable lead with 2 rounds remaining.

    James Leaderboard
    17 - Aaron Naughton
15 – Bailey Smith, Ed Richards
    5 - Cody Weightman
    4 - Rhylee West, Jamarra Ugle-Hagan

Ed Richards finishing the season strongly and within reach of winning.

Round 23 - Western Bulldogs defeat Hawthorn and claim 8th position for finals (Thanks Carlton)

    James

    2 – Aaron Naughton
    1 – Sam Darcy

    Comments

    Marmo

A win in difficult conditions and a Carlton choke have us into finals. Leading the way clearly to WOOFers was Josh Dunkley (60 of a possible 60) ahead of best mate Adam Treloar (28). The unlikely selection of Roarke Smith (27) was justified big time, while Lachie Hunter ( 23) produced his best game in a long time. Aaron Naughton (6) led the remainder from Bontempelli and Richards(3 each).

    James

Pup voting was headed by Naughton (26 of possible 28) from Sam Darcy (10) exciting the fans with his marking. Richards (6) was the other pup to score votes as he continued his stellar form.

    Marmo – Leaderboard

    34 - Tom Liberatore
    23 - Josh Dunkley
    22 - Tim English
21 – Bailey Smith, Bailey Dale
    19.5 – Jack Macrae
    17.5 - Marcus Bontempelli
    17 – Ed Richards
    15.5 - Aaron Naughton

    Dunkley moves to second position.

    James Leaderboard

    19 - Aaron Naughton
    17 - Ed Richards
    16 – Bailey Smith
    5 - Cody Weightman
    4 - Rhylee West, Jamarra Ugle-Hagan

Aaron Naughton reclaims the outright lead.

We will continue the voting into finals with a separate tally maintained for the Picken award (Best in Finals)
Lets have a big 4 weeks to finish the season.
