I don't think he's quite quick enough to play the role we want him to.
Has some goal sense but I have big question marks. If we want a slow small forward I'd just play Wallis.

What do you see in his game that would improve us?
More from a Carlton mate who is flummoxed that he was delisted. I thought he might be a Toby McLean type half forward but has a few runs through the midfield. If he is not fit enough in terms of endurance then lets pass on him.

He's ok. Kind of reminds of Andrew Hooper, a very un AFL build and while he fits the role I want us to recruit fairly well (natural goalkicking small forward who can crumb) hes kind of like the budget version of that.

If we are looking at him I am pleased we are trying to bring someone for that role but underwhelmed by our choice of target.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

If you thought there was a chance he could make a Stengle type impact we would be all over it but chances are he would yo yo in and out of the side. He's close to what we might need so I wouldn't rule it out but I think we can either find someone a bit better or draft and develop someone for the role.

Oh my God I was trying to think of that name earlier.

Spot on summation - eerily similar to Hooper.

Rowe's numbers are not bad considering he has played in a rubbish team and in the graveyard position of HFF/FF. Joining a team with a better midfield that will provide greater supply into F50, he should get far more opportunities to impact than he did at the Crows. It's not a sexy sell but I don't mind this selection, he's clearly a natural forward and a natural footballer.

Isn't he being delisted? Can't we just sign him if worth a spot?

He's out of contract. Adelaide won't want much as they won't re sign him.
