He's exactly what they lack.
My guess is that they would be starting next season with a ruck combo aged 30 and 31.

I'd be ok with that if I was them, they're in the "window". It's a good point you make and may well be a factor.

Well, sure. But he's a significantly different player to all of those (bar Schache) and you could criticise Lobb for having those same competitiveness issues that Josh has been tarred with. One of the Freo supporters in my life (they are bountiful around here) insists that Lobb is the worst player to ever wear the purple and commit to personally driving him to the airport in the event he is traded.
All of those things aside, I still feel like both players are in a 'buying high' situation and I'm glad I don't have to make the call.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

Re: List Managment thread (For 2022)
In 2000, Bandy averaged: 17 possessions, 7 marks per game.
Lobb is currently averaging 12 disposals and 4 marks per game.
I get what you are saying (I guess) but if you want to find a worse player than Lobb I think there are a few names ahead of Daniel Bandy...if you wanted to stick with players who have also played with us then maybe Daniel Hargrave would be more suitable??
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

While it's a very different game now so maybe the stats aren't comparable but I've always felt Bandy got harshly assessed by our supporters during his time with us.

Agree. I thought Bandy was ok and unfairly maligned. Kind of a prototype of the roaming, marking tall teams like nowadays.
