Yep. I don't disagree.

Lewis Young was probably one of the most screwed around players we’ve had over the last 10 years. I’m glad he left after the way he was treated by the MC, and finding regular opportunities elsewhere.
I will never see #16 the same!!

We are doing much the same with Schache.

I have heard talk regarding Liam Jones as a possible returnee. Has anyone else heard this? It sure would help the backline/KPD position if true.

Not sure Liam would return as he wasn't given much opportunity and was the reason he left.

It's certainly being speculated. Not sure how much truth is in it.

I can see Schache playing a key defensive role at another club next year and doing well. I still think the penny will drop with him.

Had we played him 6 games in a row as a defender near the end of the season I imagine he might have been keen to sign on again.

Not sure they would get it, he retired. I get why they're asking though.

In all honesty they really should. Under the strange circumstances and regardless of how you feel about mandates it really doesn't seem fair that they lose a player for nothing.

Re: List Managment thread (For 2022)
I think Blues are asking for compo because they know if they block Jones was coming back it'll create a possible legal shit show for the AFL. AFL give Blues something, Blues let it go and everything's okay.
