Honestly macca I am disappoint.
I know Suckling's defensive efforts were questionable, but when he kicked those goals from outside 50m arc, it was beautiful to watch.
Add to the 60 m kickout from the backline were awesome to watch.

He was good for one good thing a game, granted.
Now let's talk about the ten times a game he tried to be cute.

Hujst and EW your knowledge of players is uncanny , almost spiritual like . Was thinking of the bald eagle but for some stupid reason I could not recall what position he played Becuase I was away overseas for those earlier years in 2003-2004
I will respectfully amend my original post
Thank you
Will have to dig out some YouTube clips of the great eagle

I feel like if anyone is being stirred from the reference to Bulldog great Nathan Eagleton, based on history it'd have to be Mantis.

Nah mate bring it on. You're allowed to like who you like (provided it's not Suckling).

I have no idea, but have seen his name mentioned as a potential draftee.
Playing with Scotch College and West Adelaide U18 I believe
Picked up this on a post regarding SA School footy from Big Footy
KYAN EAGLETON
Scotch
Kyan Eagleton will be a key player in Scotch’s midfield. Picture: Emma Brasier

Kyan Eagleton was a mainstay in Scotch’s midfield last season and 2022 will be no different.
A strong prospect on West Adelaide’s list, he has a high work rate and the ability to hit every area on the park by foot.
“Kyan’s a really hard working midfielder,” Nelson said.
“He can push hard forward, he’s explosive and is very good by foot.”

Yeah I didn’t mind Suckling but Eagleton gave me that feeling that makes you spike video game controllers. His game in the 2009 prelim was the easiest thing to see coming short of Ric Flair turning on Sting.
