How do you know I’m not the guy who stole Easton Wood’s medal?

Fletcher Roberts has one more, what's your point?

I have the same number of premiership medallions and Brownlow’s as Chris Grant and Brad Johnson and I didn’t have to bother going to footy training

I can't believe the wasted effort on their end.
Scott West too. In fact, if I could think of anyone who typifies wasted effort it's Scott West.

I think EW is secretly Suckling and is just trying to stay relevant by bagging himself out.
I guess I'll find out for sure when he calls in for his macaroons on his return travels.

Re: List Managment thread (For 2022)
Jason Johannisen: 2022
Toby McLean: 2022
Josh Dunkley: 2022
Rhylee West: 2022
Alex Keath: 2022
Josh Schache: 2022
Bailey Smith: 2022
Louis Butler: 2022
Riley Garcia: 2022
Zaine Cordy: 2022
Taylor Duryea: 2022
Mitch Wallis: 2022
Stefan Martin : 2022
Charlie Parker: 2022 (Rookie)
Robbie McComb: 2022 (Rookie)
Cody Raak: 2022 (Rookie)
I’d be moving on all the guys bolded, 1 year contracts for Keath, Schache, McLean, Doc, and depending on how we go in trade period, Cordy could get 1 year as depth. If we get another KPD in trader (which we better!) then Cordy goes.
I reckon Dunkley will leave. JJ prob gets 2 years. Smith apparently getting 2 years. West I’d offer 3 years.
Maybe that’s cutting too deep but I don’t see any of the guys bolded doing enough to help the team and we’d may as well put on 3 rookie KPP or Rucks and seeing how we go using those spots for longer term prospects.

I wouldn't be getting rid of Garcia, he's got something. Other than that agree. McComb would be stiff, I don't think he will be moved on.

Hard to disagree with your suggestions. I'd like to keep Garcia and Parker for another year as I think they have both been injured more often than not and they offer a point of difference to what we currently have.

Re: List Managment thread (For 2022)
I'd keep Garcia and Parker and cut Zaine (regardless of who we recruit and honsetly if we don't recruit some form of KPD then we might have to look at getting a new list manager) and Schache (maybe there's a market for him but I highly doubt it) but otherwise pretty solid choices.
I'm also assuming that Dunkley leaves and can't actually figure out how we're targeting Lobb if he doesn't. Essendon's pick 3 is what I'd be looking at and maybe ask about getting Zach Reid for our first thrown in if they're in a particularly aggressive mood.
I would cut McComb today if it were up to me but understand that we won't and am not gonna waste my time worrying about it.

Re: List Managment thread (For 2022)
There was no point drafting Parker if we were going to cut him after just one season. He was always going to take some time despite being a bit older as he hasn't played a heap of footy. Injuries have also held him back. VFL watchers have seen something in him so he gets another year.
No way McComb isn't on the list next year. He is limited but we need depth and he has already played 10 games. There is an argument to be had about whether he should have been drafted in the first place but it's a moot point now.
Garcia gets another year to see if his body will allow him a clear run at it.
Raak is only taking a category B spot I believe so may be worth keeping if he has shown enough promise.

We must be close to a Martin retirement announcement? I can't see the point really of him continuing. (for a while now).

I think the horse has bolted somewhat. He may as well wait an announce it closer to the end of the season. Depending on where we are on the ladder he might even get a farewell game.
Given his injury interruptions last year and knowing that 2022 was very likely to be his last season it's perplexing that we didn't recruit someone to replace him.
